I am  pleased to extend a personal welcome on behalf of the staff and students of  the Center for Professional Skills Development ,  College of Computing and Information Sciences, Makerere University.  The center is a professional skills development unit that strives to be one of the leading centers in the region.

As a center, it is through practice and commitment to excellence that we have positioned ourselves among the best in the world. At the Center for Professional Skills Development, students experience the real world of IT from the start and our hands-on approach emphasizes the environment within which the graduating candidate will practice his/her skills. Backed by modern teaching methods and new technologies, the department is home to the several International Certifications including Cisco, Microsoft, ICDL, Oracle, EC-Council, ITIL, Linux among others.

We are constantly working around the clock to find relevant training opportunities around the globe so that we can bring them next you. In the modern knowledge economy, one need a multi-set of skills to remain competitive in the job market and we aspire to be the gateway to your selling point.
