About the project

Makerere University, the East African School of Library and Information Science (EASLIS) and the Swedish School of Library and Information Science (SSLIS), University of Borasare implementing mobility projects entitled“Erasmus+ICM-Enhanced, sustainable and integrated internationalization and; Linnaeus Palme: Sustainable internationalization in library and information science education (SILIS). These projects seek to integrate internationalization at the same time contribute to a greater number of mobilities between Makerere University (Uganda) and University of Boras (Sweden).

The Erasmus+ICM project is financed by Erasmus and Linnaeus Palme is financed by the Swedish Council for Higher Education, UHR. The theme of both exchange programmes is integrated, enhanced and sustainable internationalization with references to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)and to previous and existing cooperation. It is now extended to include not only PhD students, their teachers and supervisors, but also undergraduate and graduate students, lecturers at any level, administrative staff and librarians. A total of 39 mobilities (21 students undergraduate and postgraduate;18 academic and administrative staff) will benefit from this mobility scheme. The project will support mobilities running from 2020 to 2022.

 

Deadline for receiving applications:All applications should be in by 11thOctober2020; at 23:59Hrs.Only selected participants will be contacted for oral interviews.
